Last week, Santé Group was named Best Workplace Wellbeing Advice Firm at the Health & Protection Awards.
We’ll be honest – we were a little shocked… but not that shocked.
Because while it’s lovely to win awards, what matters most is what this one represents: ten years of quietly doing what we do best. Helping employers and their people access better health and wellbeing support.
When Santé Group began back in 2015, founder Paul Nugent had a simple vision: make healthcare and protection advice easier to understand, easier to access and centred around people, not policies. There were no grand plans back then, just a determination to do right by clients and a belief that advice should lead to action.
Fast forward to today, and that ethos hasn’t changed, it’s just grown legs.
Over the years, we’ve evolved from a small, specialist advisory business into a group that brings together insurance, protection and wellbeing under one roof. We’ve built technology that makes care simpler – like the MySanté app – and introduced services such as Santé Care, our nurse-led case management, to ensure people aren’t left navigating complex health challenges alone.
We’ve combined expertise across brands, streamlined how clients work with us and kept the same human focus that got us started. Every new product, partnership and process has been driven by the same question we asked a decade ago: “How can we make this easier, faster and better for people?”
So yes, the award means a lot. Not because of the snazzy trophy (although that is a bonus), but because it recognises that approach: practical advice, genuine care, and a belief that workplace wellbeing should feel accessible, not aspirational.
“This award belongs to our team and our clients. Since 2015, we’ve worked to join the dots between insurance, technology and everyday wellbeing so people get help when they need it most. Thank you to everyone who trusts us with their people. We’re just getting started.”
Paul Nugent, Founder & CEO
Ten years in, Santé Group still feels like it’s just hitting its stride. We’re proud of how far we’ve come and prouder still of what that journey means for the businesses and people we support every day.
